My attempt to allow you to have fun at my expense
For those who know me, I’ll try about anything and have very little shame, especially when it comes to the Breast Cancer 3-Day. And, it’s always good to make things more interesting, so I’m offering to have some fun with those who donate to either one of my walks (San Diego or Arizona).
Here are the incentives:
-For all who donate-I will be making a sign that says who I’m walking for. I know that a majority of people have had a personal run-in with Cancer (Breast Cancer or otherwise), and I will walk one of the days carrying that sign with your loved ones’ name on it. Personally, not only will I be honoring my sister, but I have recently had cousins die of Pancreatic Cancer and Lung Cancer.
-If you donate $100, I will put your name (or your Business name) on a shirt for one of the days. I’m going to have shirts made up prior to the events that say who my sponsors are (that’d be you guys!).
-And, finally, if you donate $200 or more, I will let you negotiate with me what I do on the walk. You want me to wear pink knee-high socks one day? Done. You have something else in mind? No problem-we can work it out within reason (meaning it can’t cost me too much to pull off!).
Last year I shaved my hair into a Mohawk the night before and tried to use gel to dye it pink (didn’t work), and this year I’ve already decided I’m buying a pink Fedora, pink bowtie, and pink vest for one of the days. I will be sending out emails to those who donated at the levels that I need to coordinate with them prior to the walks.
Also, even if you don’t donate (but, please do), leave some comments on this post for ideas. The way I look at it, I have 6 days of dressing outrageously (3 for each walk) and I would love to have a different outfit/look for each day. Give me some ideas!

Daily Update 7/24
Not too much to update today…I was to lead a Training Walk last night, but yet again, no one showed up for it. However…I do have someone RSVP’d for my 7-Mile walk on Saturday, July 25th from 6-9pm. HOW EXCITING, I’ll finally get to Lead a Walk!
As far as donations go, got a generous $50 donation for Arizona from @jenniferjablon. Thanks Jennifer!
